This fleece is my favorite item from LL Bean. It is thin fleece, which is nice in that it is not too bulky, and it fits perfectly. I typically wear a small and the small in this item is perfect, which is rare among LL Bean products in my experience. I typically wear bulky button-down shirts under it, so it still has a fair amount of ease, but it is still flattering since the fabric is not too thick or structured.
Thank you for making these jackets in petite sizes. They are the perfect layer on not too cold days. However they pill very badly on the inside after a couple of washes even when I don't put them in the dryer. Disappointing!

Poor fabric

I received a fitness fleece jacket as a gift. I already have several and I love them. But I am not impressed with the new one. The fit is fine but the fabric is of inferior quality compared to my other jackets. I am disappointed.
Product description said "exceptionally soft" but should have said exceptionally THIN fabric. So thin you can see through it. It would probably be nice for spring/summer but definately not a winter garmet so I returned it.
