Expected the fleece to be a heavier weight than it is. I am a size 12/14 so I bought a large which just fits without layering. Not sure I would buy it again. The color was turquoise which is pretty.
I have been buying Bean's Fitness Fleece products for six years, and I still wear my original two, although they are now looking a little tired and have shrunk a bit in length (glad this season's design is longer). This year's purchase brings my total to 5. This jacket is so light-weight and easy to pack for traveling or hiking. I also wear it under a jacket for skiing in the winter. It slides easily over long-undewear, and is the perfect weight on its own for early morning runs in the Spring and Fall. I also wear it indoors in the Winter. It is so cosy, and not hot and heavy like a sweater. So many uses, easy to wash, dries in a snap, never needs ironing. Love it!
I have noticed lately that some shirts, pants and now this jacket that look blue online are actually more green than blue. This rich turquoise color is definitely a light medium green. I have several computers and this jacket in the rich turquoise color appears the same color blue on all the monitors, so I think the photograph is just incorrect. The large fit me well (5'5, 150 lbs), but I wish it was blue.
I PURCHASED SIX OF THESE GREAT JACKETS OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS AND LOVE THEM. I ORDERED THE NEW YELLOW COLOR AND WAS DISAPPOINTED WHEN IT ARRIVED. THE WEB SITE NEVER SAID IT HAD CHANGED THE CLASSIC STYLE AND MADE IT 3 INCHES LONGER IN LENGTH.IT LOOKS VERY MATRONLY SO BUYER BEWARE IT'SNOT THE SAME AS PREVIOUS YEARS. L L BEAN SHOULD ALERT CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY CHANGE THE STYLE OF ONE OF THEIR STAPLES.
