You changed this item. I've ordered these jackets for years and years and loved them. The recent ones ordered have a different feel and fit, and they are longer in the body. The don't fit the same and they don't look the same! Please please please bring back the previous model or vendor! If I'd known the item was changing I would have stocked up before you changed.
I love these for tennis. I bought several last year and a few new ones this year. The new ones seem different. The colors are not as vibrant and seem washed out, especially the plum & reds. I immediately washed them right out of the package, so now I'm stuck with them. Had I seen the colors in person I would have passed on most of them. Fabric seems more spungie than last year - not as plush. Very disappointed.
This is a very nice lightweight fleece, perfect for wearing indoors in the winter, or for a bit of warmth outdoors in the fall or spring. I have it in the flag blue, and liked it so much I got another in the lemon sorbet. As I find that LLBean clothes are generously sized, I ordered this in a small, rather than my usual medium, and it is just right. Others have complained about the smooth polyester lining, but I like it, as it slides easily over whatever I wear underneath it. It has two zippered front pockets, which are sewn into the seam and leave a clean line, plus a sporty zippered sleeve pocket. It washes beautifully, with no puckering or shrinkage. My husband also has the men's fitness fleece jacket, and is very happy with it.
The colors are lovely and the fit is fine, but I don't understand why you would make a fleece jacket with the fleece ONLY on the outside. This does not provide much in the way of warmth, the polyester lining is chilly against the skin. Going back.
