I ordered this fitness fleece a couple years ago. Loved them. My old ones were starting to look worn, so decided to order another new one this past Fall. It appears that LL Bean changed the fabric of this item. So disappointed. The new fabric is thinner, and the inside is different. It almost feels like plastic. Why do companies keep messing with a good product? Will not buy again.
I now own five of these fitness fleece jackets and I live in them. They are light weight but so warm. They wash & dry perfectly. The new "Radiant Blue" color that just came out is AWESOME.....the best color yet. It isn't as shocking as shown on the website and has a bit of a periwinkle cast to it. To die for!
I own several of these jackets. Great three season jacket. Wears well. Love the length. Washes up great. I don't dry mine all the way so the zipper will lay flat. I highly recommend this product.
I agree with a previous reviewer that this is a good light layer for travel. I've worn it on the plane, to the hotel gym, tied around my waist for a walk in the park, to bed at night in a chilly hotel, while making breakfast in a condo, over my shoulders for an early beachside breakfast in Hawaii. The little zippered pocket on the sleeve is good for a money or a room key. Packs down to a reasonable size, dries quickly, doesn't wrinkle. Doesn't cost so much that you'd be devastated if you lost it. Being tall, I like the longer length and the longer sleeves (thank you LLBean!!).
