I have been buying the fitness fleece hoodies and matching vests for a while. I like the light weight of both for (non-bulky) layering under jackets and coats. I am very disappointed that the hoodie is discontinuned. I did buy 2 of the jackets style this year and like the fit but miss the hood in cool weather!
To LL Bean: Please bring back the old styling with kangaroo pockets and sleeves with approximately two inch cuffs which could be folded up nicely if too long. I don't like the new skimpy hem on sleeves. I don't like the zipper pockets as they sometimes scratch my frail older skin and I also find the finishing of the kangaroo pockets more attractive. I wear these in my home all fall and winter and would love to buy more if they were available. They are my perfect light weight indoor layer and I sure wish they were still available. I have the hoodie but would buy either style.
Regarding colors: Please less pastels and "muddy looking" colors and more bright, crisp ones like emerald, royal blue, hot pink, fuschia, bright orange or coral and bright purple. Too many of your shades are "muddy looking" and unattractive.
