This fleece jacket is perfect - not heavy or bulky but very warm and cozy. The cayenne color is really pretty and the jacket fits exactly like I hoped. Even the zipper is perfect - when I zip it all the way up, it doesn't bump into my chin like most do, giving me maximum warmth but still comfy. The workmanship is top quality and there was even a special bonus - a little hidden zipper on the upper left arm, perfect for a kleenix or a key! I absolutely love this jacket.
I purchased this fleece, along with the matching vest, as a gift for my wonderful wife. Only problem is that the sleeves are too short. She is 5' 9" and the the sleeves are 2 inches too short. Spoke with the L.L. Bean Operator and they don't make a Women's Tall of anything. They should, I would buy it. Had the same issue with the Women's Polartec Thermals as well.
Fine for the price but really dislike the "tacky" inside material. Outside is soft but inside is just dimestore quality. however, for the price does provide a decent very light weight layer.
First of all, be aware that this jacket runs very, very large. I usually take a misses' medium (I am 5'5", 38" bust, 29" waist) and despite the fact that I have a long torso, this jacket was absolutely swimming on me in the body. The sleeves were far too long, too.
Secondly, I was expecting this jacket to be fleece on the inside and outside. Instead, this jacket is lined in shiny polyester and I don't like the feel of that against my skin.
