Iam an active female senior. I have purchased these jackets in the past few years and loved everything about them--wouldnt change a thing,however they are much different now, The fleece is awful--thicker and almost foamy looking,and the fit is off--too long and not as good fitting or looking. I sent mine back. please bring the old one back.
I really like this fleece. it fits nice and I have a bit larger upper body and the 1X fit very nicely. I ordered 2 more. The only thing I would say that is a negative is after washing a few times the (pills) little balls appeared.
I love this little jacket. It's soft, lightweight, cozy, and very packable. Perfect for chilly airplanes [and it's easy to stuff in a carryon bag], very handy for overly air-conditioned restaurants, and nice for walking on cool summer mornings and evenings. Be aware that this isn't a fleece for cold weather, unless you're running in it and getting really hot. I do wear mine as a sweater indoors in colder weather, however. I have 3 [so far] and they wash well, although after a few years they look a bit tired. [Time to buy a new color, I guess, but I hope LLBean will keep selling the black, white, and brown basic shades.] One small annoyance is lint left on some [not all] fabrics, but for me the many good points outweigh that negative.
I just received this Jacket in Lilac and Pink Waterlily; the colors are so pretty. When I tried each on, they were SO SOFT, like the other Fitness Fleece that I have. This feature adds to the comfort, and they are hard to take off at night. The jackets are also great to have at a cool to cold workplace like mine. I will always be a fan of Fitness Fleece, and PLEASE keep making them L.L.Bean!!!
