I wanted a sweater that was soft and fleecy against my skin and would keep me warm while sitting in a 68 degree house in winter--a soft hoody without the hood, perhaps? This jacket fails on both points.
I am fairly new to wearing fleece and I do love them for wearing in the house during the winter. I have a fleece vest from a competitor and loved wearing it last year. What I love about the LLBean fleece zip front is that it is fitted, not boxy. I also love the inside finish of this product. It does not create static and slips on easily over my knit shirts. One other feature I particularly like is the slightly narrower collar band which is more comfortable to wear. I have not had a chance to wash this product. I usually wear a Large size in LLBean tops and this fit exactly as expected.
