I've bought three of these jackets. They are the lightest weight fleece jackets I've ever seen. I have one in ivory I use as a bedroom jacket to pair with my summer pj's. I have a black one that is great after exercise class. And the newest one is a beautiful blue I take everywhere with me in the summer, just incase the ac is too chilly wherever I go.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, for taller than 5'4"
I LOVE my pullover quarter zip fleeces and have 4, even though I had to take about 4" off sleeves and also the bottom to make them fit me. The colors are so great, and for fall & spring temps they are terrific!
I ordered the full zip front, hoping it might be shorter in the body. Well, it was NOT, and the task of shortening a zipper as well as sleeves was just too much to face.
PLEASE, LLB! Get PETITE sizes for your vertically challenged customers!
I am 5' 2" and have to shorten all the shirts I get from you at least 4". (Your competitors offer Petites--beware!)
I would recommend this one to friends WHO ARE TALLER--over 5'4"
The Fitness Fleeces never fail to make me happy. They are soft, warm but not too warm, and lightweight. They are very fashionable, making the jacket the perfect traveling piece for flying or other means of transportation. They're also great for race walking! Keep up the good work, L.L. Bean!
The fitness fleece jacket is very very long. I am petite (under 5'3" and 115 lbs) and the jacket comes down to my thighs! The medium was too snug, in bust and hips, especially for layering. I am keeping the size large; it's not sharp-looking, but will do the job of keeping me warm all over. Note also that the fabric is thin, but it's very soft.
