I have 4 of these lovely sweaters. They are soft, comfortable, fit nicely and come in great colors. I would give them a 5 rating in these areas. However, I consider them to be high maintenance for washing (by hand), and for the extreme pilling even after the first wearing. I had to dig out my old sweater shaver devise just to keep up. I would rate them a 1 in that respect. So, if high maintenance is not your thing I'd look for a different sweater but if you like them enough to not mind the handwashing and pilling then go for it!
Love this sweater! I'm a frequent Bean shopper and of all of the sweaters I've purchased this one is IT! The feel, length, cut, color (blue lapis) are perect. I'm ordering another color today!
I really love this cardigan and now have it in a number of colours. It looks great with jeans but is also smart enough to wear with more formal trousers. To make sure it keeps its shape, I run some light elastic around the bottom and at the cuffs. I'm also a great believer in a hand wash/rinse and a short spin in the machine where woolens are concerned as this minimises any tendency to pilling etc.
