The sweater is absolutely gorgeous. The texture is rough, as it should be, so while wearing a long sleeve shirt under it, even a thin one, makes it tight around the lower arm. This also makes it impossible to push the arms up when hand-washing, etc.
I bought two of these sweaters, one in cream and one in rose violet. I appreciate the quality of both for their warmth, but lightweight comfort. The cream sweater isn't really cream. It has a "heathered" brown/tan in the weave that limits what clothes I wear with it.
This is a warm and comfortable lightweight cardigan, and I love the style. This sweater retained it's shape after washing which is one of the features that I was looking for. All of my purchase motivations are, style, comfort, quality, and price. This item qualified in all categories.
