I knocked off a star for the cheezy buttonholes. Other than that it's a pretty, fluffy, lightweight sweater. It feels nice against my skin; I don't find it scratchy at all.
I have a pullover version from a couple of years ago and know that the knit will pill a little where the arms rub, but that's easy to fix. It washes great - just lay it on a towel to dry - and it dries fast.
About fit: I almost always wear XS in Bean tops. This and the older pullover I have are S. I live in a warm climate and will wear only a light t-shirt under the cardigan - anything heavier under it and the S would be borderline snug on me.
