I wear XS and my only gripe is that it's too bulky in the shoulders and upper arms, with not enough length to balance it out. Makes me look a little top-heavy. But I still like this sweater enough that I have 3 in different colors. It's the warmest sweater I have. If I get cold while wearing it, then I know the temperature is really freezing!
I wash them in the machine, buttoned up, then lay it out flat to dry. The first one I got, from 3 or 4 years ago, is just now losing its shape and getting really fuzzy, so I don't wear it out anymore-- it still makes a nice house sweater. I pull it on first thing in the morning when I get out of bed, and I don't even feel the Alaskan chill.
Liked the material and sizing but I found that the stitching is flimsy and I can easily almost put my finger through some of the seams. Also pilled a lot almost immediately. A bit disappointed this time. LLBean sweaters are usually sturdy and well made.
What a nice little sweater. Cozy with a button all the way up turtle neck, a johnny collar, I believe. Bought two (brown and cream) and love them both. Going to grab one more before they are all gone as they hardly get put away as one of my favorite winter layering pieces that will take me right through the year round. A teenie bit scratchy but then I wouldn't be wearing it without something on underneath. Have a feeling once washed it will soften up. Nice to have a cozy sweater I don't have to pull over my head that looks great, too.
Beautifully knit sweater, very soft and luxurious against your skin. I have a very difficult time finding items that don't irritate my skin. This blended knit is perfect. However, I find the sizing to be smaller then I expected. I ordered a large which should have been fine but I found this to be a smaller large size. I will return it for an extra large as I wouldn't be able to wear anything under it to have extra room. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Great buy too.
