I am glad I disregarded the reviews of this item that said it was thin and scratchy. It is neither. The yarn is soft, and, while it isn't the heaviest sweater I own, it has enough substance to add a cozy layer. I bought the Chocolate, and may buy another couple of colors. I especially like the button-up collar, which also lies nicely open under a coat. Fit is accurate, with longish sleeves, which I appreciate in cold weather.
This is a very nice looking sweater, with the cables and all. I gave it a 4 instead of a five because it has to be hand washed instead of machine washed and it does seem to pill a lot. But I do seem to get so many compliments on it. Plus it was on clearance, a great value. It is sized just right. The sleeves and length of sweater fit me perfect. I am very happy with it. It is a great color, mineral blue I think.
