Love this sweater, but mind washing instructions

This sweater is great. It's comfy and good looking. I was surprised (since I had not checked beforehand) that it requires hand washing. So far it has not been too much trouble. It looks great and feels warm. What more can you ask of a sweater?

This sweater is great, have 2 of them, they are warm but not picky, can wear with jeans or dress up....just great, washes nicely too.
