This sweater looks like it is going to be sold out soon, but regardless, it is soft and looks to be of good quality. It does run a bit small so order up if you can.
The sweater was wonderful but was not pink but the color of a tomato. The picture online definitely shows pink. LL Bean, as usual, is great about customer service; so I remain happy with continuing as their loyal customer.
This sweater is so soft! I was a little worried that I'd have to hand wash it, but laziness got the better of me and I threw it in the washing machine with some other "hand wash" sweaters and some wool lite. The gentle cycle didn't seem to bother the sweater at all and it came out without being snagged, shrunken or stretched out of shape. I haven't worn it yet, but I can tell it's going to be fabulous.
Just like some folks turn to food for comfort I turn to sweaters and this has to be my favorite sweater of all. It's the sweater I wear when I'm cold, when I'm sad, when I want to just be comfortable but a step up from the old flannel shirt, sweats and bunny slippers, or when I know it's going to be a rough day at work. I just wrap myself up in it and life is good. I have one closet devoted to sweaters (odd, many are from LL Bean), some older than my son (20) but this is my favorite. I have two,would have had three but they were out of the black cherry!
