After reading the generally good reviews of this sweater, I had high hopes for it. Alas, when it arrived, I discovered that 1) it is quite scratchy; I tried it on over a long-sleeved cotton t-shirt and it felt very prickly even on my arms, not to mention my neck, and 2) it runs small compared to my other LL Bean sweaters. I'm quite slender, but if you're at all large-chested the sweater gaps between the buttons. I ended up returning it. It's probably a nice sweater for someone who doesn't have sensitive skin and isn't quite so busty.
The sweater is a perfect compliment to any type of wear - casual or for work. Its muted colors go well with almost anything; and it is extremely warm and comfortable.
