This sweater is one of my all time favorites! The fit is great, the color selection is awesome, and it's lightweight yet EXTREMELY warm! I have three of them. They look good with anything. One of my older ones has pilled on the elbows, but I don't care. That's what sweater stones are for. The last two I got on sale for $14.95. You can't beat the value!!
This is overall a nice sweater, although it does seem to be pilling rather quickly even after just a couple of wears. It does keep me pretty warm as well. I am tall (5ft 10") so of course the sleeves could be an inch or so longer, and I know most women wouldn't have that problem, I just wish LL Bean would offer tall women's sizes. Overall though, a nice sweater (even if I do have to keep pulling at the sleeves..)
I bought my first of these sweaters a year ago at the end of season sale and have bought two more since. The sweater is a lovely soft knit and the colors are pretty. The fit is flattering and it is very warm. The new super soft heather tops match it perfectly. An all around winner!
I am delighted to find this sweater on sale. When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised by the color (indigo). Also, the yarns that make up this sweater are so fluffy and light. It hasn't cooled off where I live yet, so I haven't actually worn it outside. I love the way it looks on me. The fit is close to the body, so if you like a roomy kind of sweater, maybe try a larger size. You can button it all the way to the top, fold it over, and the sweater becomes a turtleneck. It's really a cute and versatile sweater.
