I might have tried ordering this sweater in size L if I liked the feel of it a little better. Because it feels rather scratchy on my bare skin, I would be most comfortable wearing it over a long-sleeved shirt. The problem......over a long-sleeved shirt, the sleeves feel very tight under the arm and through the length of the arm. Also, I can barely button this size M cardigan even though I am small-busted and own both size S and M Bean sweaters that fit nicely. I love the pale turquoise color, the price was great and I can wear this sweater unbuttoned...but I much prefer the LLBean cotton cable zip cardigan in style, fit and fabric.
That's what it's all about. Being able to be comfy and cozy and still look great! This sweater goes great with slacks, jeans and cords. Layer over a long sleeve T or something dressier. I have several colors - you can't go wrong! Washes well in the machine and I generally dry flat. If it requires too much fuss I won't wear it!
I think this sweater is very soft and snuggly, but the color wasn't quite what I thought it'd be when I ordered it online. It had more white than I thought it would. (I ordered the light blue.) I still love it, and I can't wait for the weather to turn colder!
I ordered this in the medium blue, but with some reservations because of the reviewer that said it was so itchy. Not for me! It is soft as butter and very warm. Fits like a dream. I'm pondering which color to order next.
