This is a really comfy, soft sweater. It fits very nicely, and the colors are great. I recently bought a second one. I have noticed that it does start to pill easily, like other reviewers have mentioned. But with a little sweater maintenance, it still looks good. For an attractive, casual sweater, this is a good choice.
This sweater is very comfortable and I love the colors. However, because of the acrylic, it pills a lot! I'll still wear mine around the house but can't really wear it to work or anything as it looks kind of "raggedy" after one season. I guess I would reccommend a higher quality sweater.
I was thrilled and delighted when I saw this sweater in the summer catalog, because FINALLY IT CAME IN PLUS SIZES! The sweater is lightweight and good for cool evenings in summer, and I expect it to be comfy for early fall and late spring in western New York State. The fabric is soft enough to not be scratchy on my bare arms, so perhaps this new shipment is softer than an older one. The 2XL fits as it should. At first I thought it might be a little snug around the hips, but there is enough give to the fabric that it has not turned out ot be a problem. The sleeves are a little long, but I have had that problem most of my life - I'm 5' 5" - so it is me, and not due to odd styling. There have been some complaints about pilling. Wonder if there is a difference in the fiber content of the various colors that might affect the likelihood of pilling as well as the softness of the fabric.
I ordered two of these sweaters and the colors are very rich. They are the perfect shades for autumn. I don't find that they run small at all. I ordered size small and feel it is the perfect size for me and I always order size small from Beans. The wool blend is soft; I can wear it against my bare arms and usually I do not like wool against my skin. Great cardigan!
