For the past dozen years, I have only purchased flannel sheets from LL Bean, because they are the best! They fit well, wear well, look great and feel so soft and cozy! Every bed in the house sports LL Bean flannel from Labor Day through Memorial Day, and we hate to take them off for the summer! Even the dog and cat love cuddling in them, and we recycle the old sheets as bedding for the pets. Thanks for making the best flannel sheets in the world!
I don't understand the bad reviews. I washed the sheets the moment they arrived, and they came out soft and wrinkle free. I have now been sleeping on them for one week, and they are as soft and silky as the day I unwrapped them; in fact, they are the softest sheets I have ever slept on. They don't pill (no evidence of white lint balls on the black Smartwool socks I often sleep in), and I plan to purchase another set in Nautical Red and Flag Blue. Between this sheet set and the new flannel comforter cover, I no longer need to wear socks to bed, and that's saying something. I live in frosty New England and keep the heat at 55 degrees during the night. I LOVE these sheets.
I really like these sheets. The colors are nice and the flannel is so soft. Makes the bed nice and warm. They are a little bit on the light side for flannel sheets. I am used to a much heavier flannel. The quality is good though. I just wish they were the heavier flannel.
I have a deep mattress and my flannel sheets keep pulling off. They didn't pill, but a lot of lint comes off in every washing. Soon I might not have any flannel left?? NOT the old time quality of L L Bean.
