These are the best flannel sheets I have ever owned. They have had a couple of years of heavy wear in the winter and simply have not pilled at all. I read some other reviews that complained about pilling and wonder if the sheets were from a different batch. I couldn't be happier with them and plan to buy more.
I purchased the orange fitted sheet last year and love it. It is soft, very comfortable and holds up to frequent washing. Due to our dogs sleeping in our bed as well, I wash my sheets about twice a week and our flannel sheets are in use for about 6 months out of the year (we live in the Northeast corner of Vermont so our winters are COLD). And the color is accurately depicted as well. I also ordered the comforter cover and another sheet/pillow set (red/blue) for our guestroom. Really good quality at a fair price.
I swear by LLBEAN quality but I was truly disappointed in these flannel sheets that pilled terribly before the first wash. The fitted sheet was the worst. I will be returning these.
I ordered the pale yellow sheets and they pilled from the very beginning of using these sheets. They are pilling where our bodies are using them...both the top sheet and the bottom sheet. I am paying more money to try the buffalo plaid sheets hoping they won't pill.
