I love this trio and was thrilled to find it at LL Bean. The double zipper access makes it easy to use. The mesh lets your clothes breath and lets you see what inside. It can go from your suitcase to hotel draws in one easy move. Love them.
I purchased the Ultralight Packers to use with the Medium Adventure Duffle (also an awesome product) for a 10 day trip to Mexico. Totally unbelievable how much I was able to pack: 3 dresses, 6 tops, 4 capris, swimwear, undergarments, 2 pairs of shoes, 2 books, all my toiletries and sundries & there was still room left in the duffle. I am so pleased with this product I plan to buy another set & the large adventure duffle for a two week trip to Europe next spring.
The ultralight packers are great for frequent travelers. I am amazed how much I can get into the packers, they fit nicely (snugly) into the suitcases, you don't have a "TSA mess" on your hands when you arrive, and it makes it easy to sort your items (e.g., business, leisure, personal items) by container. I liked them so much I have now bought them for all my frequent traveling friends and family members!
I've bought 3 or 4 "generations" of these Packers, and with each generation their size has decreased, and the fabric has felt thinner and flimsier. Taken with some other items recently purchased that did not perform to old standards (wrinkle-resist shirts), I am beginning to wonder if Bean is losing its ability to provide the quality+value that I have long been accustomed to.
