The fabric of the Bean packers are lighter and softer than other company's. They are well made, sturdy and wash well.
I only wish that LL Bean would offer the option of individual purchase. Since I am very petite in size, and I travel mostly in the summer, I have hardly used the large packer, but I would love to have another medium size packer.
Since I get ready for work at the gym in the morning I do not have much time to spare. I have been looking for a way to organize my gym bag to make it easier to access everything I need, so that I can quickly shower and get dressed. The Ultralight Packers have totally made this possible. I pack up the medium one each night (which fits perfect into the L.L. Medium Sized Duffle) with what I need for the next day, and it keeps all of my clothes neat and contained. The packer is also true to its name, as it is very light weight, so it does not add any extra bulk. I must say I have found it to be so convenient that I have recommended it to all of my friends at the gym.

This just worked out great. No more opening the suitcase and having items fall out. No more shifting around of clothing while traveling. I can prioritize and pre-package outfits. The organizers are durable, as I would expect from LL Bean.
What a head ache, airlines restrictions on luggage and traveling to Minnesota and Switzerland all in one trip. Last summer, a friend lent me her untralight packers for a month long trip to these two very different places. Warm weather clothes and much cooler weather clothes were needed to be packed. The packers made it so easy to sort through what ever clothes I needed. When I returned home I had to treat myself to my own packers.
