These packers are fantastic. I've just purchased a set as a gift, having used my own for two years to great effect.
When we go camping, these packers are great for organizing things in our (LLBean) extra large duffles, keeping clothes neat and tidy and quickly accessible.
When traveling to visit family for a couple of days, these are the ideal size size so that my kids can get away with one each - cutting down on luggae space in the car, and sliding easily under a bed when we get there.
The smaller ones are great for books too, not just clothes, to keep them together and protect the pages.
I love the organization of packing cubes and am very impressed with the quality of the LLBean Ultralight Packers. I like being able to organize my clothes and other items and know that if my luggage is searched when I fly, everything remains neatly packed. And when I get to my destination, I can quickly empty my suitcases into the drawers, keeping most items in the packers. Or if I don't have drawers available or am just staying one night in several different locations, they keep everything neat and divided in my suitcase. The sizes in this set are good. I packed 3 pairs of ladies pants, a skirt and a sweater in the large one and had room for more but wanted to completely separate clothing types as I didn't have the option of using a dresser this trip. I also brought 7 lightweight tees which I rolled up and put in the midsize packer. Each bag has a small tag inside where you can write your contact information.
Heard about how to pack for a 10-day tour in a "carry on" bag by rolling clothing tightly. Bought a set for my husband and I. Didn't think I could fit it all in but these zippered bags kept things grouped and layered for easy packing and repacking as we traveled from city to city. Worth every cent.
