When they first arrived, I thought they were a little small and how would they fit anything? Wow...I was wrong!
These lightweight packers held so much and the mesh tops can be easily overstuffed without fear of breaking the zipper. They kept my suitcase neat and organized. Things weren't falling all over the place each time I pulled something out. Each size is just right for something. They also help keep wrinkles to a minimum.
These are so good I'll buy another set for my next trip. Now I need an adventure duffle because my old suitcase was too heavy empty! The packers were so great they compacted things and I was easily overweight at the airport without my suitcase being stuffed...so if you have an old suitcase watch out!
I pondered an initial purchase for a considerable time. The price was not really the issue...it was the question of usefulness. Were these really going to help or just be another stupid travel item I won't use more than once?
Guess what! These make travel life great! All those little items, like socks, belts, little shirts, pants, whatever are all containerized and stay neatly folded. I fill up my bags with these and don't end up having to refold things as I retrieve what I need. A real time and hassle saver and SO WORTH IT!
A friend loaned me a set of Bean's Ultralight Packers for my trip to Paris. When I saw the quality and convenience, I ordered a set for myself before I left. What a time saver when unpacking, plus they kept my linen tops from wrinkles. I liked them so much I orderd two sets for my daughter to use for their family's Disneyland Vacation. Needless to say, I highly recommend them for vacations and even just overnight trips.
We recently bought a second set of these VERY useful packers. Gone are the days of lugging heavy suitcases, due to weight restrictions, so we use LL Bean rolling duffles (also excellent) whenever we travel. These handy packers keep everything in order; make it easy to grab the type of clothing item you are looking for from your duffle, and they keep everything neat thus reducing any ironing time at your destination. The mesh topping makes the contents visible and provides airflow; the sizes are good - the large for pants, capris or shorts; the medium for shirts, blouses, t-shirts, and the small for belts, ties, etc. Keep up the good work LL Bean!!
