This is a great backpack for someone who needs storage and wheels. The only problem is the handel breaks long before the backpack is ready for retirement.
I was initially put off by the cost of the bag but my son goes through two a year. He is a smaller kid, a year younger than his class peers and in gifted classes so there are always loads of books to bring home. This bag lasted for two full years. Unheard of in our experience, even with other LLBean back packs. There are lots of different places to put and separate items. He had no problem getting on the bus and there's no more excuses on books not coming home because they are too heavy. We're getting another, pronto! I only wish there were more masculine designs for older kids because the geckos were pretty cool!
I bought my daughter this bag 5 years ago and it is still in good condition. I am now buying one for my other daughter and for my niece! You can't go wrong with it!
