We bought this backpack almost 3 years ago. This fall this will be our 3rd year with our rolling LL Bean backpack. It is very sturdy and durable and our daughter even used it as a carry on back on a trip to Europe! It still looks as good as it did the first day we bought it and my daughter is going into 8th grade! So if it can take a teenagers wear and tear, its #1 in my book!
I bought this backpack, and it has been used for 2 full school years. This backpack is very durable and still looks brand new. However, my daughter has decided she no longer wants a rolling backpack since her classes will be upstairs next year. I will be purchasing a new LLBean backack for my daughter and 1 for my son as well. The only complaint I have is that I wish it had a side pocket for a water bottle. Overall this is a great, well made backpack.
This rolling book pack is the best "back pack" I have ever bought. My daughter who is 11 years old went through 2 cheap back packs (around $30.00 each) within one month. I found this back pack, bought it and have never had any problems with it. My daughter carries her whole locker in this pack. It's very sturdy and it has great zippers. Would recommend this to everyone that's tired of buying back pack after back pack. Two thumbs up.
I purchased this for a studious 7th grader who has scoliosis & wears a milwakee brace 20 hrs/day every day. Very rugged, reliable, still looks great. It carries 5- 1.5" thick binders in main compartment, a 290pg book & 150 pg workbook,her folders/journals & ruler in middle pocket. Very front pocket holds her pen & pencil bag, labels, Sharpies & colored pencils. The binders & books are really packed in, every inch is used in this bag but at least she isn't lugging the books around anymore. This bag rolls quietly & smoothly & is easy for her to maneuver. This was the largest capacity rolling backpack I could find that had the best reviews. I am so glad we purchased this, worth every cent!!!
