I am an older student returning to school and I have a TON of books. With this Rolling Book Pack, I don't feel the weight AT ALL!! It is ruged enough to stuff with EVERYTHING I need and more. It doesn't hurt that it is pretty too. School is serious stuff, I like knowing I can have something that makes me feel care free while still being a serious student. Oh and it saves my back!!! anything that can save my back is worth it's weight in gold!!
We got this bag for our daughter when she started first grade. She is going into the fourth grade this year and it is still in great condition. We are only buying another one to update the color from pink to print. She loves it. She has traveled all over the USA with this bag, it is the perfect carry on that she can handle her self. Our son got one at the same time and his is still in great condition too, he used to go through two store bought back packs a year.
I recently purchased this backpack for my 10 year old. The very second day of school one of her friends asked to roll it. She flipped it over and it had been dragged quite a distance. Even though the damage was our fault, LLbean replaced the backpack!! I am astonished. Nice that some companies still have excellent customer service and really guarantee their product. The pack holds an amazing amount of stuff. We love the wide wheel base (it doesn't tip over like our previous rolling backpacks), When used properly I am sure this backpack will be the best one we have bought. There are also adjustable side straps for when you are not carrying a large load. These are really nice to cinch the pack up some when using it as a carry pack. Thank you LLBean I wish I had found this pack about 4 or 5 backpacks earlier !!!
Highly Recommend! I bought this for our son to take to China with us and it was perfect! Very roomy and easy to use with strong, smooth rolling wheels. We did a lot of traveling, 7 flights within a two week period. It held up beautifully. He has used it for over 18 months now and it looks like new. He is entering a new school this fall and cannot use a "wheeled" book pack. We are ordering the same exact one without wheels. You won't be disappointed with this!
