Well made, awesome wheels, all around worth the money. my son is 10 and LOVES this backpack. Growing up I had LLBean backpacks and they lasted a long time. Now as a mother of 4, we always get LL Backpacks for the kids. They last through all the kid abuse. Thanks LLBEan
bought this for my daughter who was beginning middle school. She usually goes through 2 backpacks a year. This pack is so sturdy it will last this school year and beyond. She has used it for short trips to visit her Nana as well. The fact it is a rolling bag is great because she doesn't have a locker and has to transport all her books and folders with her.
Very attractive piece with great functionality. Our 11 year old daughter loves it. It appears to be very well made, but as our daughter is very careful with it, I don't know for certain how much punishment it can take. I highly recommend it.
I have two daughters, now in 4th & 5th grades, and this is the second set of rolling backpacks I've purchased for them. The ONLY reason it was necessary to purchase this set was because the first set was getting too small to carry all their school supplies, gym shoes, classroom shoes, outdoor shoes or snow boots, and, living in Alaska, the ever present snow bibs and coat. These beautiful backpacks easily hold it all! I also purchased the matching lunch bags, had all four items monogrammed, and my daughters never have to worry about another child accidentally grabbing one of their bags.
As an aside, the smaller backpacks are still used when we go to the pool, or the girls are invited for a sleepover. These backpacks will be around for years!
