Has great storage Nicely made with great handle & wheels. The only thing I do not like is the material that hides the zipper..it keeps getting caught in the zipper.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this back pack. We bought one for our daughter and one for our son. (3rd & 5th grade). Tons of room for all of their books, gym clothes, lunch boxes, anything! My son even shoves his drum kit in the bigger compartment and wheels it to school. With all of the heavy books and accesories that kids need to tote to school ...this has been a fabulous book bag for wheeling to school! This book bag is also tough! My daughter likes to drag it down the steps. Every child should have a rolling book bag from L.L. Bean!
I have many friends who have used these backpacks for years. I ordered one for each of my 3rd grade triplets. They have so much homework everyday that I don't think they could have used anything but a rolling backpack. Yesterday, my daughter had 6 workbooks and 3 large textbooks in the backpack! I also bought one for my older son. They are heavy duty and there are a lot of great colors and prints to pick from.
My daughter loves it! She has to carry all her books all the time because her school has outgrown its rooms. Her backpack was weighing almost 50 pounds. The size and all the compartments makes her life much easier. She feels more organized and it's a lot easier on her back being able to pull it around. The wheels are great. It would also be useful on a weekend trip.
