I recently received this book pack and I LOVE IT! I ordered the Blue Wave Island color ~ love the color!!! I was afraid that the lighter ones would get dirty easily. I have gone back to college after many, many years and am in nursing school. With the size and weight of the nursing books this book pack is much roomier than others. And this may sound strange but picking it up to put in the car is not an effort even with it completely filled with books and such. It rolls easily and is very easy to hold on to ~ I was constantly dropping the handle of my rolling briefcase. I also love the fact that even though it has shoulder straps they are tucked away so they don't drag the ground. I would recommend this book pack to everyone! Even those not in school. As I'm sure it would be a great way to lug around anything and everything! I plan on using it as a carry on once I'm finished with school.
This backpack has been great for my 10-year old daughter, who seems to be lugging a lot of textbooks to and from school. It converts easily between rolling pack and backpack. Also, the service from LLBean was stellar- the first package was lost in the US postal system (we waited 2 weeks for the package) and LLBean immediately sent out a second package by FedEx- THANK YOU!
