Sadly, I have returned the same style backpack 4 times, each time the corners have shown wear like the backpack was 10 years old. I will not be exchanging for another one.
First off, I'm not a student; I work in an office. I got this backpack about 3 years ago as a present from my sister. At the time, I didn't need it because I had a shoulder bag and didn't have a lot to carry to work. Then, a year later, I started having to transport back and forth to work more than what my body was able to bear comfortably and I pulled this pack out of the closet. What a beautiful thing! No pain in the shoulders or back, rolled easily. I called my sister after the first day using the pack singing her and its praises! This pack holds practically ANYTHING! It's been a year since I've first starting using this pack and I still cart work back and forth with this pack. I stop at the grocery store on the way home from work, pick up a gallon of milk, roll the milk home in this pack - with my work. I LOVE THIS PACK!
I purchased a Deluxe Rolling Book Pack last year for my son starting Kindergarten. He has special needs and is unable to wear a traditional back pack. We went through 3 "big-box-store" rolling back packs the previous year and I knew I needed something of higher quality. This back pack is amazing. He used it all last year through wind, rain, snow and heat. The wheels have held up well. We have had no zipper problems or problems with with retractable handle. It easily holds snowpants, shoes, books, snacks and everything else he might bring home from school. It is nice to have two big pockets to keep the clothes and books separate during the "wet" seasons. He has drug it up and down the steps of the bus too many times to count. This year when school started again I took a damp rag and wiped the outside surface clean and it was as though he had a new back pack again. Well worth the money. If this one ever fails I will certainly be buying another.
