Can't wash it at home,

"I see now that, way down in the small print, this item says, "Wash and dry in large commercial machines." I would NOT have bought this item if I'd seen that; it didn't occur to me to look for it. I just tried to wash it for the first time in my (fairly large) home machine, and it has damaged the pad. I don't want to go to laundromats, especially when ill as I am right now; and I expect to wash a mattress pad about once a month. I'm VERY disappointed; I'm particularly disappointed that, when I bought it, there was no plain-cotton alternative, only down-filled and wool. I see there is now a plain-cotton alternative and I'll probably have to buy it as this is unusable for me."

"This pad has fully rejuvenated our long-time hand-me-down mattress! My only concern is that the care instructions just list cold water, etc, when it should really be washed in a big industrial washer to avoid damage to the pad. This is worth way more money!"

"Wow! I have a great mattress, very comfortable. I needed a mattress pad to protect it. I waited a long time before I decided to try yours. It is so comfortable, stays in place and it doesn't move around. My son helped me put it on my bed and now that he has seen it wants one for his bed too.
