The radio meets its emergency threshhold but the button to turn the radio on and off is awkward and the quality of the sound is less than I expected, somewhat tinny even though another reviewer said the sound was good.
I am so pleased with this radio....even used it today during a snow storm & it worked very well. The one thing I would like to share w/others concerns the color. I wanted to order this piece in the red color, but they were out, so I ordered the "Hibiscus". When I opened the box upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with this hibiscus color. It IS almost a red, not the "pink" color that shows in the online catalogue. I am thrilled with this! It has turned out to be GREAT!!
