Great little radio for just all purpose use, plus the safety items (dynamo, weather bands, etc.) make it a good item to have at home. I work from home and actually use it as my desk radio.
This radio gets fair reception and has a lot of nice features. Quality is so-so the first one would not receive FM stations so it was replaced. There are a lot of buttons that are a bit confusing. The vollume control could also incorporate the switch, but it is a stand alone function. Overall, this is a neat little radio but I would like to have better reception and more intuitive controls.
The only thing that worked on this radio was the flashlight. Adding batteries, winding it up, using the solar feature, nothing worked. Dead and useless.
I gave this radio as a gift at Christmas and decided I liked it and bought one for myself.
I've owned it for three weeks and just love it. We are in the middle of storm with high winds and the power has already been knocked off-line. I grabbed my radio and listened for any news or storm updates.
One of things I like about this little number is its portability and sleek design. Not only that but it has solar panels on it. It practically cooks your breakfast!
I chose mine in hibiscus and love the color as well. But most of all, the durability and usefulness of this item puts it up there as a great buy!
