Great item. I bought for my husband and he likes how it is organized--dials that he can spin around like a radio, all the regular push buttons for the functions. It's a good little radio. He was shopping around for a radio/charger for his brother and I ended up buying this for Christmas for him. He's a gadget guy, so he loves it.
nice sound and reasonable size with lots of features however I bought this radio to listen to when I did laundry and did not realize from the instructions that I had to crank this device for aleast 3mins everytime I wanted to use it. we do not have enough sun to charge it and after using up 6 aaa batteries in 4 days I determined the problem. description on website did not make this clear and instructions were poor at best. would not buy this item for regular household use but kept it for emergencies.
I had looked a several other EWR and it was very hard to make up my mind so I called all the company's and asked questions about the product. I chose this one for several reasons. First, the cost was in my price range. Second, the features that it had like the digital tuning, big solar panel on the top of the handle. The best thing I like was when I received it and found out that it can be used in my condo here in FL. Most of the buildings are constructed with concrete and hard to pick up a signal for cell phone and cordless radio's. It's great to take to the beach!!!
