Wish I saw this radio before I purchased mine two years ago. It has so many great features: flashlight, wind-up battery power, or solar power, perfect size and shape, great sound. Made the perfect gifts for my family members. Never know when the power will go out again, but it's nice to feel prepared. Can also be used at the beach, in the yard, or on a hike.
Always challenged as to what to get my son for Christmas. Since he likes to camp I thought this would come in handy. It was a hit, he even liked the color-blue.
I love my weather radio, especially the cell phone charger feature. During a major ice storm several years ago, I really could have used that feature! I also gave this item as a Christmas gift and a very hard to please in-law was thrilled with it!
A recent extended electrical outage prompted our purchase of this radio & it's just what we were hoping for - only better! It is smaller (thus more convenient) than we thought and the orange color is nicer than pictured (more of a copper). Living out in the country and traveling a lot this radio will be perfect for everyday use as well as emergencies. We like that it works on solar as well as crank, batteries and DC (no cord included however) - and that it will charge our cell phone. Plan on getting one for each of our kids next!
