I went with the larger model that includes cellphone charging. But it does not work with Motorola's proprietary charging requirements. My phone is due for a replacement; with luck the next one will work.
This is very light weight and portable. With the very frequent power outages we've been having in the last few years it should be very useful. I leave it in a sunny window so the solar battery stays charged. If that fails I can put in AAA batteries, or it can be passed among family members to take turns cranking it.
I ordered this little radio for my husband because we live in Buffalo, NY (no bad weather jokes please, we love our weather) and we do occasionally loose power. It's a terriffic all around device, crystal clear, bright light and even a cell phone charger. We couldn't be happier, it's great! mj
I purchased this radio for my son who had just moved to Florida. I was worrried it a hurricane came through that they would not have an emergency radio. He said that it is great. It's a solar radio and keeps the charge well and they can charge their cell phones too. Great product!! I am going to buy one for my husband.
Bought this little radio with some LL points I had. I was curious and took a chance and so far so good. It's been a month now and it gets used quite often. Just pop 3 AAA batteries in and they work fine just as another radio. Wish there were dual speakers but that would change the price, give it a try.
