I had an older TV/Weather radio I never used for years and got rid of.Then the power went out.Hmmm!I got this to replace that item,but have found very usefull for other occaisions as well.I highly recomend.
LL Bean used to carry a different model that was better than this one. I guess the model would be ok, but the sound didn't work on ours AND the writing is so small on the knobs and directions that if your over 40 it's tough to read. I'm returning mine. It doesn't seem like a good value for the price.
We love taking the radio to the beach or pool and it's been really convienant. My husband has been looking for one for quite a while and this is exactly what he wanted
