I received what I thought would be a handy gadget, but I tried to use it after a few months and the only thing that would work was the LED flashlight. Here is one product that doesn't live up to the usual LLBean quality. I would not recommend purchasing this item at all. Dials and casing are all cheap plastic and it doesn't seem like it would be very durable. Very disappointed.
Just received my radio and am very satisfied with it. Good reception. Hope I never have an emergency but feel that I am now prepared...just wish it had the AC adapter included.
I received this for Christmas; it worked fine. I set it aside for 6 months and went to use it only to find that nothing but the flashlight still worked. All of the electronic functions (and display) were completely dead, even on AC power and even with new batteries. Good thing it wasn't an emergency.
