I ordered the radio for my husband for Christmas. He absolutely loved it and was amazed at all the features. We decided to order one for a friend's birthday, but this one didn't work when we received it. Have sent for a replacement and hope to be as happy with this one as the first.
I bought this radio last summer. It worked great for 1 month. Then it just stopped. No power, no nothing. Tried new batteries. Worked great...for 1 month. Exchanged it for a new one. (LL Bean people were wonderful). Same thing with the second one. Weird. When it works, it works perfectly. But then it dies, new batteries or not. Will try again I guess.
While I like the item, the antenna broke the first time I opened it, and the company says the antenna is not covered by their warrenty, so I will be returning it for a replacement.
