This delighted my husband, as we live in tornado alley, and lose our power quite a bit due to storms. We think it is a great radio, and would reccommend the item to anyone who wants to be able to have communication during a power outage.
The best feature is the ability to switch to battery power. This is a great radio for anyone who is outdoors and needs to keep up with weather reports.
it was smaller than what i wanted and it wasn't excatly what my husband wanted for a gift. unfortunatly i threw away the return label or else i would have sent it back
