I read the reviews before buying this item and was worried about one that stated that you had to fuss with it to find a channel. In some ways this is true because the frequency dial adjusts only by small increments. However, unless you are a constant channel scanner, this does not pose a problem and everything else about the radio is great. One of my best gift purchases this year.
This radio is terrific. My husband was (is) excited to have 'his own' weather radio finally. Being raised on a farm in MN, weather is his hobby and he is always checking to see what is happening. This radio gives him up to the minute info. And it is awesome besides!
Good for emergencies with the light and radio, and hand crank. Took me reading instructions to figure out the weather radio part, so not really what I wanted regarding a weather radio.
Prety good little radio. Did not come with an AC charger and this was not clearly stated in the ad, and it is not readily available to order from the information included with the radio, either. Had great sound and was simple to use.
