The radio arrived in excellent condition, and performed as advertised. The user's manual was TINY! Had to "google" to find how and where to order optional AC adapter;THAT company proved to be a challenge. All's well that ends well, however. LL Bean does an excellent job in delivering and in providing values.
This was very helpful during a severe weather alert. Weather reports were constantly updated as the storm moved toward us. In case of electricity outage the radio can be charged by battery, sunlight or turning the crank. Especially helpful while traveling out of state.
(The radio and its features are great! However, to charge your phone you have to order the cord that fits your phone, about $10. To charge the radio by AC, you have to order the AC adapter for about $20. You have to call the manufacturer to obtain these useful items. It would be nice if the AC adapter was included in the L.L. Bean price, or at least it was made available by L,L Bean.)
Copy/pasted last comment! Because I was disappointed the adapter and cord were not included by LLBean. It was a gift to my husband and now we have to order more to "complete" from manufacturer...booooo.
