I love these and do not know how I went without them for so long. I do not find them cumbersome at all. They are very easy and quick to toss on. They fit just as well over ballet flats as they do over bulky hiking boots. I am always out walking my dog, and I was the only one not slipping and a sliding down my street after the latest winter blast.
These boots are the best thing I have found for walking 8 hours continuous 5 days a week on snow/ice! I deliver mail and before these boots... wore the yaktrax..in which I would go through at least 2 pairs a month because of the wire slicing thru the rubber...I would definitely recommend to anyone who may have doubts...well worth the cash!
After falling on snow-covered ice and injuring his shoulder, my husband heard about these boots from his doctor and asked me to order them for him. He absolutely LOVES them and says he will not slip and/or fall again. We live in the "snow belt" area and get plenty of snow each winter. In addition, our house is at the top of a very hilly driveway that often becomes covered in ice. He now feels very safe when he walks down the snowy driveway with the dog.
