They fit weird, they felt weird. They put pressure on the top of my toes which I thought I would like less and less over time. The laced up area bunched up when I walked and, again, felt weird. I just generally didn't like them and sent them back. I read that some people really loved them. They seemed very well crafted and sturdy. I just could not get past the weird feel of them. Perhaps I should have given them more time, but I didn't want to send them back in used condition. I love LL Bean - they will have something that works for me.

These are so warm and comfortable to wear. I bought the extra wide and they leave plenty of room for my wide feet and I'm still able to wear warm, wool socks underneath for extra warmth. I look forward to having them this season and many more to come.
I had to wait for these boots to arrive but I am now ready for the snow. They are warm. They fold down if you don't want the high look. I have a narrow foot so the heel part is a bit loose but with heavy socks, I am all set.
