My husband bought me these boots recently and I love them.......actually...these boots are the only shoes that I want to wear. They are very comfortable and cute. I wear them with jeans and even to my school where I teach. My students complimented me...that has got to be a good thing!!! lol I am a beginning upland bird hunter and these will be one of the best investments that I own. They run true to size....I am a size 8 and that is what I ordered..lots of room for breaking in.. AWESOME

These arrived just in the nick of time for the first seriously cold snowy week in NY this winter. As other reviewers have commented, they do run large. I normally wear a 6.5 and ordered the 6. I have room to wear my thickest socks with plenty of toe wiggling room. They kept my feet nice and toasty in 20ish degree weather and had good treading for walking in icy/snowy patches.
Considering layering in an insole as well, since my foot seems to sit a little low in the actual body of the shoe.
I wish the laces were a bit longer... they're a couple holes short when the boots are over my pants, but that's only a minor detraction.
Also, glad to buy something made in the USA. Feel like they will last, and they didn't have any weird off-gassing smell when I opened the box—which I associate with poorly made goods and questionable materials.

I gave my new bean boots the true test today by wearing them to the barn. They trudged through the snow and the wet to bring in horses from the paddocks. They stepped in muck and manure and during all this they kept my feet warm and dry! I love my bean boots! And I love the fact that they are made in the good ole USA.
