These boots are amazing! They do run quite large, I am an 8 and purchased a 7. Even in the 7, my heel still slips a little with light socks. Mid-weight socks solve the problem. I haven't tested them in the snow yet, but in cold, rainy weather they were great! My feet stayed dry and warm. I highly recommend these fabulous boots.

I wore sorel boots for over 15 years (same pair), and tho they were great at the start, they weren't so great the last, oh, 10 years? I figured I'd get something new this year and ordered these -- and like a dream, they arrived at my house the day before the first major snow storm!! Nothing like trying the boots in real conditions, right? They are SO comfortable and warm -- hadn't experienced dry socks after relocating snow in don't know how many years, but took these off and feet were dry and toasty. They recommend if you are a half-size to downsize it - it is perfect (I am an 8 1/2, but ordered an 8 - perfection). Highly recommend these to anyone -- I am disabled, so need good solid footwear so I don't fall (anymore than necessary), and the sole is nice and solid -- woohoo!!! warm feet!!!!

These boots are cozy, sturdy and they look great. I did take the advice of others into consideration and ordered down a 1/2 size and I think they feel really good. I no longer have to dread the 6 months of cold slop we have ahead of us here in Wisconsin.
Well made boot designed to withstand NE winter weather. Very pleased with the shearling lined version as I am always without socks and like that I can just push my feet into the boots if I am in a hurry.
