ProsDurable, Comfortable, Performing as Expected, warm
These are one of the best investments I've ever made... I needed comfortable/warm boots that could go from PA to NYC, endure the snow and slush. The shearling fur certainly guarantees warmth. One of my favorite details is the fact that they are not too heavy... very easy to walk in for long periods of time. It's also quite convenient being able to roll the boot down and tie the tongue, allowing two very different looks. I honestly cannot praise these enough. Love them. FYI- they run a size large, like most LLBean shoes.

the order shipped super fast, I ordered on a wednesday and recieved them on that friday. They are absolutely gorgeous but I haven't worn them too many times yet. It hasn't rained since I got them but i'm looking foward to it. I ordered one size down and they fit perfectly. I have lots of room to add thick socks but with my regular cotton ones they still fit nice and don't feel too big.
Loved the shearling lining and the appearance on the website, but when I tried them on (ordered my usual size) they were bulky, laces didn't seem to pull them into shape, and the height was awkward. I thought these boots would be wonderful, but I had to return them. Last year I bought the 14" high, zip, shearling lined boots, continue to love them, and get compliments all the time.

These boots are my favorite! They keep my feet warm and dry, even when tramping through a few feet of snow. I used them all last winter and couldn't be happier. They are a little big, even with thick socks, so definitely order down. I am only sad that I am living in Atlanta for a year and I won't really need to use them.
